Mark Redekopp, M.S. - Associate Professor of Engineering Practice
Research Interests:

Computer architecture, high performance computing, parallel and distributed systems, multicore and multiprocessor systems.  Mark’s current research focuses on effective use of homogenous and heterogenous multicore processors for irregular memory access applications.
 
Biographical Information:

Master’s in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, 2001, University of Southern California.

Mark Redekopp is a senior lecturer in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering at USC.  Prior to his appointment at USC, Mark worked at Raytheon Company on several advanced processing concepts and continues his work and research with Raytheon on a consultant basis.  At USC, Mark teaches classes in digital design, computer architecture, and embedded systems design.  Mark serves on the Division of Engineering Education for the Viterbi School of Engineering as well as serving on the Women in Science and Engineering Advisory Board.
