Electrical Engineering has been taught at USC for over a century. A lot can change in 100 years - but then again, some things never do. Today's professors and students are working with technologies that their predecessors might never have imagined, but their goal remains the same: to build a better world. We believe that engineering can empower everyone, and the work we're doing reflects that.

Today, the world is more connected than ever before, and electrical engineering is leading the way in bringing people, disciplines, and ideas together. Whether you're a Ph.D. student looking to help bring quantum computing to implementation, a graduate student with a plan for a groundbreaking startup, or even an incoming freshman still learning what Electrical and Computer Engineering is all about, there is a place and purpose here for you.
