//Abstract://\\ This presentation will talk about how people drive their cars. More specifically about accel / brake pedals: the longitudinal human driver models and numerical evaluation of them using naturalistic human driving databases. First, driver model, car following situation and naturalistic driving databases will be described. Then longitudinal driver models and a evaluation configuration will be presented. Finally the Modified Gipps Model showing the best performance of the presented models will be analyzed more in detail and compared with real traffic flow rate data. //Bio://\\ Kangwon Lee is an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the Korea Polytechnic University. He received his Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2004.
