Basic equipment use instructions

The rooms now have the capability of the following:

Enter the room and find a panel near the door, usually next to the room lighting controls. It will look like the image below.

DISPLAY

VOLUME

Control volume of the display. Should not set over 25 to not overly disturb the occupants of office on other side of display wall
MUTE to silence output of display

Input selection

System Start

Press ON to turn on display
WIRELESS should be the default input, select if not. The screen displays a listing of any scheduled events in the room for that day.

In-room Presentation

Follow the instructions on the WIRELESS screen to connect laptop or device to the display.
Optionally attach device via cable (in credenza) and select HDMI.

ZOOM Presentation

Select VIDEO CONF. If display is dark, press a key on keyboard or click the mouse to wake PC from sleep.
ZOOM should already be launched. If not, select from the pinned taskbar icon.
Select Join a Meeting, enter in the Meeting ID. The Name should be the name of the conference room, i.e. EEB 110
Wait for the host to admit.
If presenting from within the room, the host (presenter) should admit, and any computers in the room will need their microphones and speakers muted
Use the ZOOM controls to adjust speaker/screen layout as well as fullscreen options.

Audio Teleconference

Move phone to table and tap display to wake up phone.
Press the Place a Call button, type in the full phone number (1 plus area code and phone number) and press the green call button.
Hang up and place phone back with credenaza.
