Ph.D. in Computer Science, 1995, UCLA, Los Angeles, CA.

Leana Golubchik is an Associate Professor in the CS Department, with a joint appointment
in EE-Systems,
at the University of Southern California.
Prior to that she was an Assistant Professor and then an
Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science
and UMIACS at the University of Maryland at College Park as
well as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science
at Columbia University.

Leana directs the Internet Multimedia Laboratory at USC.
Her research interests include Internet-based computing,
multimedia systems, and computer systems modeling & performance
evaluation.Leana is currently the Chair of ACM SIGMETRICS
(elected 2003). Leana has received
several awards, including the Faculty Award from the Okawa
Foundation and the NSF CAREER award. She is a member of the
IFIP WG 7.3 (elected 2000).
